Your Hue©
And oranges greets a purple hue
I pause to think of you
The hue of your eyes
Like the fading light in this cold January sky
Beyond beautiful the pair of you
Out of reach you are as is
The hues
Yellow
Orange
Pink
Purple
Red
Gray
Blue
A wonder to be reckoned with
Your presence commanding
Like a siren luring mortal men
Women too starve; hunger which cannot be sated
Lustful souls grovel
Yet…
An invisible force field
Guards
My damaged heart
My tortured soul
I am:
Un-hypnotized

Spell-binding eyes
Perfectly proportioned size
Intoxicating sighs
Fragrance which lingers in the air
Rivers of enchanting hair
I’ve mastered insight
I see through this
I see through you
You heart has been marred
Heavily armored
Trust not a strong suite
I see through your beauty
I see you
The quiver in your voice
I hear crystal clear
Guarded tones
On these I hone
So alluring
Yet
So alone.
